Built in 1939, the Eureka Theater has been a prominent landmark in downtown Eureka and an icon of classic art deco architecture. The theater is now in the process of restoration with a number of projects underway to ensure the prolonged life of this beautiful one of a kind venue. 

The theater was built originally as a movie house yet today it hosts not only film festivals but concerts, performing arts, classic, contemporary and independent films.  If you would like to donate to this effort please click on the restoration link on this page.
